COVID-19 in Moldova: Three more people lost their lives

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS) announces the death of three other people, caused by COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. Also, 251 people are in serious health condition, of which 22 are on assisted breathing. The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Moldova is 8098.

In the last 24 hours, 38 suspects were hospitalized at COVID-19 Center. To date, 1612 cases of infection have been confirmed among healthcare system employees.

126 people were discharged yesterday. In all, 4581 people were treated with COVID-19. At the same time, MSMPS informs that in the last 24 hours, two other deaths caused by COVID-19 infection have been registered:
Death 292: 61-year-old man from Chisinau, transferred from the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery to the Institute of Emergency Medicine on 24.04.2020. Comorbidities: cerebrovascular disease, hypertension gr. III, hypertensive heart disease IC III.

Death 293: Man of 73 years, from Orhei district, hospitalized at IMSP SR Orhei, on 13.05.2020. Comorbidities: hypertension gr. II, stroke.

Death 294: 83-year-old woman, from Bălţi municipality, hospitalized at Bălţi Clinical Hospital, on 23.05.2020. Comorbidities: cerebrovascular disease.
