COVID-19 in Moldova: 477 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 20 deaths
Another 477 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova. Of the total number of cases, five are imported. The balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 98,418 cases in the republic.
Total tests performed - 1,425, of which primary - 1,199 and repeated - 226, show data from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
Out of the total number of cases, 18 are health system workers: doctors - four, nurses - 12, auxiliary staff - two cases.
In total, 3,526 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized in hospital medical institutions, of which 273 are in an extremely serious condition (41 are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
Another 1,326 people were treated and discharged. In total, 80,882 people recovered from COVID-19.
In home treatment with mild forms of COVID-19, there are 4,757 people, and 27,168 are under home supervision.
In the last 24 hours, another 20 people have been killed by the virus. Astle, the number of dead reached 2,169 in the country.
