COVID-19 in Moldova: 527 new cases confirmed
Another 527 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova. Of the total number of cases, five are imported.
The balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 43,734 in our country.
During the day, 2,320 tests were performed, of which primary - 1,987 and repeated - 333.
Out of the total number of cases, 32 are medical workers: nine doctors, 15 nurses, eight auxiliary staff.
Health status of infected persons: 564 are in serious condition, of which 38 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus, 1,352 - in medium severity, the other patients in satisfactory condition.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, another 465 people were treated and discharged. In total, 32,293 people were treated by COVID-19.
To date, 34 health workers have lost their battle with COVID-19 infection, and the total death toll from COVID-19 has reached 1,144.
