COVID-19 in Moldova: Another 1,691 cases registered in the last 24 hours
Another 1,691 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, only today 3,927 tests were performed, of which primary - 3,587 and repeated - 340. Thus, the balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 102,894 cases.
According to the quoted source, out of the total number of cases, 109 are medical workers: 33 doctors, 55 nurses, 21 auxiliary staff.
In total, 3,499 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized in hospital medical institutions, of which 253 are in extremely serious condition (52 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
Another 6,687 people were cured, the number being supplemented by 5,538 cured people, according to data received from the authorities of the Eastern districts. Thus, a total of 90,485 people were treated for COVID-19.
There are 4,975 people in home treatment with mild forms of COVID-19, and 28,782 are under home supervision.
At the same time, according to the quoted source, another 20 people infected with the new type of Coronavirus lost their fight for life. They also suffered from other comorbidities.
