COVID-19 in Moldova: Another 142 new cases of infection, of which 14 are medical workers
Another 142 new cases of COVID-19 infection, of which 14 are medical workers, were confirmed today, July 5, in the Republic of Moldova. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, all cases are transmitted locally. Thus, the balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 17,814 cases.
According to the quoted source, a total of 835 tests were performed today, of which primary - 604 tests and repeated - 231 tests.
Of the total number of cases to date, 14 are medical workers: three doctors, ten nurses, and one auxiliary staff.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection announces that during today, three other people lost their fight with life due to the new type of Coronavirus. They are two women from Criuleni district, aged 63 and 60, respectively, as well as a 47-year-old man from Floresti district.
To date, 10,718 people have been treated by COVID-19.
