COVID-19 in Moldova: Another 171 people tested positive
Another 171 new cases of infection with the new Coronavirus were confirmed today in Moldova, in all there are 7896 cases. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, five more deaths were recorded during the day, the victims were aged between 63 and 76.
Of the total number of cases on this day, 25 are healthcare workers.
Also, MSMPS informs about the registration of other deaths caused by COVID-19:
Death 284: 63-year-old man from Ribnita. Comorbidities: hypertension, diabetes, cardiomyopathy.
Death 285: 76-year-old man from Chisinau. Hospitalized on May 11, at the Arhanghel Mihail Municipal Clinical Hospital. Comorbidities: diabetes mellitus, hypertension, mixed encephalopathy, undercompensated hypertensive heart.
Death 286: 76-year-old woman from Ceadir-Lunga. Hospitalized, on May 18, at the Ceadir-Lunga district hospital. Comorbidities: chronic bronchitis, coronary heart disease, hypertension.
Death 287: 71-year-old woman from Comrat. Hospitalised in serious health condition, on May 27, at the Ceadir-Lunga district hospital. Comorbidities: chronic bronchitis, hypertension, diabetes.
Death 288: 63-year-old man from Ialoveni district. Hospitalized on May 18, at the Clinical Hospital in Bălţi. Comorbidities: hypertensive cardio-nephropathy with renal and cardiac insufficiency, decompensated liver cirrhosis.
Another 155 people were treated. 4278 people were treated.
