COVID-19 in Moldova: Another 308 cases of infection and 15 deaths
Another 308 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova. Of the total number of cases, five are imported.
The balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 71,811 cases.
Total tests performed - 1,432 of which primary - 1,268 and repeated - 164.
Of the total number of cases, 18 are healthcare workers: doctors - nine, nurses - nine.
More than 800 people are in serious condition, of which 43 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus, 1,249 - in medium severity, and the others - satisfactory.
Another 440 people were treated and discharged. In total, 52,730 people were cured of COVID-19.
In total, 7,208 people are being treated at home with mild forms of COVID-19, and 25,220 are under home surveillance.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), the virus killed another 15 people, and among those who died was a doctor.
So far, 48 medical workers have died due to COVID-19, and the total number of victims has reached 1,700 in our country.
