COVID-19 in Moldova: Another 54 new cases of infection. 7147 cases in all

Today, May 25, 54 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed in Moldova, with a total of 478 tests performed. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, 53 cases are with local transmission and a case of import from the Russian Federation.

Of the total number of cases on this day, four are healthcare workers.

Also, five more deaths were recorded today. These are three men aged between 53 and 70, and two women aged 53 and 76. All victims had comorbidities, such as: cardiovascular failure, kidney failure, diabetes. So far, the virus has killed 261 people.

The number of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 7,147 cases.
