COVID-19 in Moldova: Another 92 cases of infection and seven deaths

Another 92 new cases of COVID-19 virus infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova, including one imported from the Russian Federation. Also today, seven patients were killed by the virus.

During the day, three residents of the capital, aged 60, 82 and 92, as well as a 64-year-old woman from the Transnistrian region, died. Three men, aged 70, 72 and 83, from Drochia, Sangerei and Balti districts, also lost their battle with the disease.

The death toll from COVID-19 reached 595 in the Republic of Moldova.

Today, 735 tests were performed, of which primary - 557 and repeated - 178.

The number of people infected with the new Coronavirus has reached 17,906.

Of the total number of cases to date, four are health care workers: nurses - two, support staff - two.

So far, 11,047 people have been treated by COVID-19.
