COVID-19 in Moldova: Three other people were killed by the infection
Three other people were abducted by COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, and the death toll reached 658. At the same time, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS) reports that 346 people are hospitalized in serious health condition, of which 27 are connected to assisted breathing.
According to MSMPS, a 73-year-old woman from Cahul district died. The woman suffered from chronic hypertension, hypertensive heart disease, chronic atrial fibrillation.
The second victim is a 74-year-old man from Taraclia district, hospitalized on July 10 at the Institute of Emergency Medicine. The man had high blood pressure, hypertensive heart disease.
The third death was recorded in a 70-year-old man from Riscani district, hospitalized on July 6 at Riscani District Hospital. The victim suffered from hypertension, grade III heart failure.
Also, the ministry informs that another 265 people have been treated and discharged. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 13,298 people were cured of COVID-19.
78 people with suspicion of COVID-19 were hospitalized at the COVID-19 Center in Chisinau.
In all, 19,708 cases of infection with the new Coronavirus were confirmed in Moldova, of which 1328 in the Transnistrian region.
