COVID-19 in Moldova: Three other people lost their lives

Three other people lost their lives because of COVID-19. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, it is about a 79-year-old woman and two 84-year-old and 55-year-old men who also suffered from other chronic diseases. All victims are from Chisinau.

According to the quoted source, 425 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 are in a serious condition, of whom 31 are connected to assisted breathing devices, 1,064 - in a state of medium severity, and the others - in a satisfactory state.

At the same time, another 329 people were treated and discharged. Thus, so far, 11,047 people have been cured by COVID-19.

To date, 2,542 cases of infection have been confirmed among health system employees, including: doctors - 659, nurses - 1,153, nurses - 508, support staff - 222 people.

In the last 24 hours, within the COVID-19 Center in Chisinau, 39 suspects were hospitalized at COVID-19, reads the communiqué issued by the Ministry of Health.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, in the Republic of Moldova, 17,814 cases of infection with the new Coronavirus have been confirmed, of which 1,265 in the Transnistrian region.
