COVID-19 in Moldova: 835 new cases confirmed
In the last 24 hours, 2,787 tests were processed in Moldova and 835 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, four are imported, three from Turkey and one from the UK. The balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 52,029 cases.
Of the total number of cases, 58 are health care workers: doctors - 26, nurses - 23, auxiliary staff - nine.
According to the quoted source, 568 people infected with COVID-19 are hospitalized in serious health condition, of which 36 patients are connected to assisted breathing.
Another 362 people were treated and discharged. In all, 38,579 people were cured of COVID-19.
Also, the MSMPS informs about nine other deaths caused by COVID-19. Thus, the death toll reached 1,310 cases.
