COVID-19 in Moldova: 1,215 new cases and 19 deaths
Another 1,215 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in Moldova, as a result of 2,858 tests performed. Of the total number of cases, nine cases are imported. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), the balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 99,633 cases.
Out of the total number of cases, 80 are healthcare workers: doctors-34, nurses-34, auxiliary staff-12.
In all, 3446 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized in healthcare institutions, of which 245 are in an extremely serious health condition (43 patients are connected to assisted breathing ).
Another 1,453 people were treated and discharged. In all, 82,335 people were treated of COVID-19.
4,892 people with mild forms of COVID-19 get home treatment, and 27,622 are under home supervision.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about another 19 deaths caused by COVID-19. Thus, the number of deaths reaches 2,188.
