COVID-19 in Moldova: Two more deaths caused by Coronavirus
The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS) announces the death of two other people, caused by COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 248 people are in serious condition, the total number of cases of COVID-19 in the Republic of Moldova being 7,537.
According to the data, published this morning by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, in the last 24 hours, within the COVID-19 Center in Chisinau, 53 patients with suspicion were admitted to COVID-19.
To date, 1,545 cases of infection have been confirmed among health system employees, including: doctors - 363, pharmacists - 20, nurses - 601, feldshers - 82 and auxiliary staff - 479.
MSMPS reports two other deaths from COVID-19:
Death 275: 62-year-old man from Cahul, hospitalized at IMSP SR Cahul, on 24.05.2020. Comorbidities: hypertension gr. III, hypertensive heart disease.
Death 276: 77-year-old man from Chisinau, transferred from the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery to the Institute of Emergency Medicine, on 26.05.2020. Comorbidities: cerebrovascular disease.
During yesterday, another 148 people treated by COVID-19 were discharged, and the number of those cured reached 4,123.
