COVID-19 in Moldova: 688 new cases of infection confirmed
Another 688 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in Moldova. In all, 3,306 tests were performed. Of the total number of cases, five are imported. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 70,256 cases.
Out of the total number, 44 cases refer to healthcare workers: doctors - 10, nurses - 29, auxiliary staff - five.
40 people are connected to assisted breathing.
Another 680 people were treated and discharged. A total of 51,102 people were cured of COVID-19.
In all, 7,532 people are being treated at home with mild forms of COVID-19, and 25,301 are under surveillance at home.
Also, MSMPS informs about another 14 deaths caused by COVID-19. The death toll in Moldova reached 1,655 cases.
