COVID-19 in Moldova: Over 180 cases confirmed in the last 24 hours
Another 181 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova, ten of which in the Transnistrian region. The total number of cases in the Transnistrian region reached 1,620.
Of the total number of cases, two are imported from Romania and Turkey.
The balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 27,841 cases.
Total tests performed - 1,048, of which primary - 921 and repeated - 127.
Of the total number of cases, seven are medical workers: three doctors, three nurses, one auxiliary staff.
Regarding the health status of infected people, 442 people continue to be in serious condition, of which 31 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus, 1,176 people - in medium severity, the other patients in satisfactory condition.
Another 165 people were treated and discharged. In total, 19,465 people were treated by COVID-19.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection informs about the registration of other deaths caused by COVID-19. A 71-year-old woman from Anenii Noi district, as well as an 82-year-old man from the capital, also died. Thus, the death toll reached 850.
