How the winter holidays will be organized this year
Traditionally, the Christmas Tree will be arranged in the center, most likely in the Cathedral Park in front of the Arc de Triomphe, and decorations will be placed in the square, but no fairs will be organized. This was announced by the mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban on his Facebook page.
"We will not organize Christmas fairs due to the pandemic crisis, but I believe that the atmosphere of the winter holidays must persist in Chisinau", Ceban wrote.
According to the mayor, the praetors will present a concept of arrangement of all parks and squares in the sectors, taking into account the pandemic situation, keeping all current norms, taking as an example the actions of other countries during this period.
"This involves the installation of fir trees, minimal decorations and no trade areas, to avoid congestion. I call everyone, to keep their distance and protection rules when they visit these locations ", wrote the mayor of Chisinau.
