Christmas decorations at a fair in Chisinau
Christmas decorations, toys, but also sausages, cheeses, sweets, jewelry and clothes - all can be found at the Christmas Fair inaugurated in an exhibition center in the capital. In order to bring home the joy of the winter holidays, the visitors did not leave empty-handed from the event, and the merchants enjoyed the sales, TV Moldova 1 reports.
Over 130 entrepreneurs, folk craftsmen and handmade craftsmen say they came to the Christmas Market with prices for each man's pocket.
"A pretty wide range, we have Santa Claus, we have a lot of hand made works, we focus more on handwork. Prices are affordable". "We have candle holders and gift sets made of jars of honey, with different fillings and already fruit for tea. And crates we have, bigger and more expensive, costs 300 lei." "We have artificial trees," say entrepreneurs.
Visitors have been delighted with the variety of products exhibited at the fair and have rushed to buy gifts for their loved ones.
"Our fair is divided into two, the food area, which in turn is divided into several neighborhoods. In the second half of the Exhibition Center we have everything for the house. You find everything you need for holidays, starting with clothing and continuing with gifts," said Alina Covas, organizer.
People were also surprised with a carols recital.
The Christmas Fair has reached its 15th edition and will be open until December 25th.
