Mayor of Chisinau seeks resignation of the head of the Directorate for Trade, Public Food and Services
The mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban asked the head of the Directorate for Trade, Public Food and Services, Marcel Zambiţchi to tender his resignation. It happens after an inflatable dinosaur was installed in the Great National Assembly Square (PMAN), noted by several internees who were unhappy with its appearance.
The acting head of the Culture Department, Steluţa Mitriuc was responsible for the decoration of the PMAN.
The mayor requested that by December 21, when the Christmas Fair is inaugurated, the space should look "more aesthetic and more beautiful".
We remind that on December 9 Marcel Zambiţchi was publicly warned by Ceban that he might be dismissed after the scandal with the carousel.
