Explosion in the Botanica sector in Chisinau. A person dies
A strong explosion happened in the afternoon in the Botanica sector in Chisinau. According to police, one person died and two persons were taken to hospital. The preliminary cause is a shell explosion. Law enforcement officers are investigating the causes of the incident.
"Today, at 2.40 pm, an explosion took place in a residential yard in the Botanica sector in Chisinau. All specialized police services, Bombteh and the ambulance were immediately called to the scene. The area was surrounded. Following the explosion, two people were injured and one man died. The law enforcement forces are establishing the circumstances of the explosion", said the police press officer, Svetlana Scripnic for trm.md.
