Pharmacies in the country are checked

All pharmacies in the country are checked by the State Tax Service (STS). Thus, the STS will review the prices of marketing of socially important products: masks, medical gloves and medical disinfectants that are in the category of products to which a commercial added value of more than 20% cannot be applied, reports Radio Moldova.

Also, according to a statement of the institution, on March 2, the tax inspectors will carry out unexpected checks at the pharmaceutical companies in order not to admit violations of the legal provisions regarding the prices for masks, medical gloves and medical disinfectants.

TRM.MD recalls that, in the context of the spread of coronavirus, there have been reported cases of significant increase in the price of medicinal masks and their lack in pharmacies.
