Flashmob in front of the Russian Embassy in Chisinau

On the National Day of the Russian Federation, a flashmob, organized by the Unirea-ODIP Association, took place in front of the Russian Embassy in Chisinau. They demanded the withdrawal of the Russian Federation Army from the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

"We do not want them to celebrate forgetting they have an army here, probably those soldiers in the Transnistrian region want to celebrate at home with their families. We come here every year with the claim to withdraw the Russian army from the territory of the Republic of Moldova because it means occupation, the defiance of the national territory, this is illegal and we will never cease to do so until the Russian Army is withdrawn. At the same time, we condemn Russia's intervention in the internal affairs of Moldova," said Unirea Association - ODIP President Vlad Bileţchi.

In front of the Embassy, a bucket was brought, to collect money for the departure ticket of the Russian Army from Moldova, but also a weapon that symbolizes the instrument with which we were attacked and killed Moldovans in 1992 in the Transnistrian region.

Today in the Russian Federation is celebrated the National Day. The Declaration on Sovereignty of Russia was adopted on June 12, 1990.
