Government will redirect 65.4 million lei for teachers' salaries
The government will redirect 65.4 million lei to cover the salary expenses of the employees in the educational field. The amendments to the law on the unitary salary system in the budgetary sector were approved yesterday at the Executive meeting, Mesager reports.
Thus, under the document, local public authorities can redirect unused money to cover salary expenses.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Serghei Puşcuţa, these measures are necessary with the resumption of the new school year, for which it will be necessary to comply with the requirements dictated by the pandemic, which involves unforeseen expenses in this year's budget.
