Video images from the PD headquarters will be investigated in a criminal trial
Based on the official denunciations submitted late last week by the leader of the DA Platform, Andrei Năstase, and the MP Iurie Reniţă, the General Prosecutor's Office initiated a criminal trial. It will investigate the factual circumstances, resulting from the video recordings in which Igor Dodon allegedly received a bag from the former PDM leader, in which it is presumed that it was money, informs the General Prosecutor's Office.
The criminal trial was initiated based on art. 274 Code of Criminal Procedure, the prosecutors will carry out a series of investigations to decide whether there is a reasonable suspicion in the actions of the protagonists of this video regarding the constituent elements of any crime.
The prosecutor's office will inform about further measures and decisions.
