Automated car parking to be built in Chisinau

An automated car parking will be built in Chisinau. This is a unique project, implemented in collaboration with the Technical University of Moldova. The mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban announced about it on his Facebook page.

"This will allow us to place ourselves directly in an innovative ecosystem, with the help of smart technology. We are currently discussing with the Public Property Agency, in order to identify the locations in 31 August 1989 Str., for these parking spaces. However, this will happen after all the procedures related to the concept of parking lots and other aspects included in the repair package of 31 August Street, 1989, are completed, reads the message posted by the mayor.

According to Ceban, the City Hall will sign a partnership agreement with the Technical University of Moldova in various fields of intervention, from consulting to active participation in the expertise of projects implemented by the municipality.

"We need the knowledge and experience of young specialists from the engineering and IT faculties of the educational institution, both in the process of rehabilitation of road infrastructure in the city and in the process of city administration. We want to have such beautiful collaborations and partnerships with several educational institutions in Moldova", wrote Ion Ceban.
