Another 50 beds for COVID-19 patients will be activated in Chisinau
Another 50 beds for COVID-19 patients will be activated at the Hospital for Dermatology and Communicable Diseases. This was announced by the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Viorica Dumbrăveanu.
"Municipal and republican institutions are more crowded than district ones, but if necessary patients are redirected to healthcare institutions that have free beds", wrote the minister wrote on Facebook.
The official also pointed that the epidemiological situation is unfavorable, both in Moldova and worldwide, and the healthcare workers are exhausted. Viorica Dumbrăveanu urged people to follow the measures recommended by specialists to help doctors and the healthcare system to cope with the situation.
