Family justice center will be established in Moldova

A family justice center will be set up in Moldova. It is a pilot center supported by the United States Embassy that will provide support to victims of gender-based violence and human trafficking. A memorandum in this regard was signed by Yanuş Erhan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior and Mark Williams, President of the Te Doy Foundation, Mesager reports.

According to Ianuş Erhan, the document will strengthen the activity of the authorities involved, in order to implement the joint action plan and to provide a specialized quality service to citizens.

The institution will bring together in one place specialists from various sectors, such as justice, police, social assistance and probation. The Family Justice Center is set to start its activity in 2021.
