Another doctor killed by COVID-19 infection
Another employee of the healthcare system died of the new type of Coronavirus. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the 57-year-old neurosurgeon Leonid Nagacevschi worked at the Institute of Emergency Medicine.
"The doctor was hospitalized on October 1 at the Institute of Emergency Medicine, the COVID-19 infection was confirmed. We express our sincere condolences to the family, relatives and the entire staff of the Institute of Emergency Medicine. God rest him in peace ", reads the press release of the Ministry.
To date, 46 healthcare workers have died from COVID-19.
