"Autobuz" operation starts
Buses and trolleybuses are checked starting with today to December 15, during the "Autobuz" operation.
Employees of INP and of the National Car Transport Agency, will fight the illicit passenger transport; they will control the conditions of boarding and disembarking of passengers outside the signaled stations, the transport of passengers whose number exceeds the number of seats provided by the technical characteristic of the vehicle, as well as the verification of buses and trolleybuses in order to ensure compliance with the technical norms in winter. The buses carrying the students will also be checked.
The operation will be carried out throughout the country in order to reduce the number of accidents involving public transport.
Since the beginning of the year there were registered 205 road accidents involving the transport of passengers, 15 people died and 286 people were injured.
