Temporary work incapacity benefits can be received as of today
Beneficiaries of temporary work incapacity benefits can pick them up starting today, September 18. For the payment of allowances granted to beneficiaries who were on sick leave in July and August this year, the CNAS transferred about 8.2 million lei, IPN reports.
In order to receive the amounts, the beneficiaries must contact the bank where they have a salary or social account or, as the case may be, any post office.
The allowance for the first five days of sick leave in the case of common illnesses or accidents not related to work shall be calculated and paid by the employer, but not for more than 15 cumulative days during a calendar year.
Starting with the sixth day of temporary work incapacity, the establishment, calculation and payment of allowances shall be made by the National Social Insurance House from the state social insurance budget.
