Young medical specialists to receive higher allowances
The one-off allowances granted to the young specialists with medical and pharmaceutical studies have been increased, under a decision adopted by the Government, reports Radio Moldova.
The Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Viorica Dumbrăveanu, said that the possibility of granting this compensation to the graduates will be changed.
"The project first of all provides for the increase of one-off allowance for doctors and pharmacists in the amount of 120 thousand lei as well as for the medical and pharmaceutical personnel in the amount of 96 thousand lei. The procedure for paying this allowance consists of three equal installments. At the same time, the project provides for the possibility of granting one off allowance to the students employed on a contract basis if they accept to be hired based on the distribution that is issued by the Ministry of Health”, said Viorica Dumbrăveanu.
The increased allowances will be granted to 1260 young specialists, for this purpose being allocated the amount of 48,716.9 thousand lei from the state budget for 2020.
