INP will strengthen pedestrian road crossing behavior
The National Patrol Inspectorate (INP) announces that it will strengthen pedestrian road crossing behavior, Mesager reports.
The persons who jaywalk will be sanctioned, the fine provided by the legislation being from 150 to 300 lei.
INP has posted in the online environment a video showing clear evidence of the irresponsibility of some passers-by who endanger their lives and of other participants in the traffic.
Since the beginning of the year, due to pedestrians crossing the street in forbidden places, there were registered 297 road accidents, 46 people died and 256 were injured.
