Children’s registration in the first grade, suspended in Moldova
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC) today informed the education community about the temporary suspension of the stages of children’s registration in the first form for the 2020-2021 academic year, given the state of emergency in Moldova.
Last week, the Education Ministry extended the quarantine period for pre-school children, pupils and students till 15 May.
Also, under the instructions by the National Commission for Emergency Situations, MECC suspended the holding of Republican Olympiads at the education disciplines till 18 May 2020. Also, decision-makers postponed the organization of testing candidates for the national school-leaving examinations, established for 30 March – 11 April, for a period due to be additionally announced.
