INSP comes with recommendations for drivers in the context of low temperatures announced by meteorologists

For safe driving in winter, the National Inspectorate of Public Safety (INSP) recommends that drivers clean their car properly before leaving if it is frozen. The recommendations come in the context in which the State Hydrometeorological Service announces low temperatures throughout the country.

INSP urges drivers to check headlights, oil, fuel, antifreeze, windshield fluid and heating system.

Also, do not abruptly control the car and ensure good visibility of the windshield, rear window, side windows and mirrors.

Drivers are also urged to properly equip the vehicles with winter tires, chains and anti-skid material and not to make risky overtaking.
