Medical institutions in ten districts will receive masks, disinfectants and gloves donated by Switzerland
68 health centers and 211 offices of family doctors from ten districts where the project "Healthy Life: reducing the burden of non-communicable diseases" is developing, will receive masks, gloves and disinfectants, reports Mesager.
It is about 63,700 disposable medical masks, 54,600 nitrile gloves and 760 liters of disinfectant for hands and surfaces. The action was coordinated with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
The materials will be delivered in two installments. In the first installment, batches of gloves and disinfectants will be distributed, starting with today, and in the second installment - disposable medical masks, starting with March 31.
The project is active in the districts: Falesti, Ungheni, Stefan Voda, Cahul, Orhei, Criuleni, Taraclia, Vulcanesti, Edinet, Briceni. Switzerland is the largest bilateral grant donor in the healthcare sector of the Republic of Moldova.
