MFAEI after the explosion in Beirut: Moldovan citizens are not among victims
The Moldovan Embassy in Ankara, concurrently accredited to the Lebanese Republic, is in contact with the competent authorities in Beirut to specify if there are no Moldovan citizens among the victims. According to information, there are no Moldovan citizens affected by the explosion. If necessary, Moldovan citizens in Lebanon can contact our diplomatic mission to email: email@example.com or call the ministry’s Call Center.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Oleg Ţulea, sent a message of compassion to his Lebanese counterpart, Charbel Wehbe, on the evening of August 4.
"On behalf of the Republic of Moldova, we convey our condolences to the suffering families and the speedy recovery of those injured in the Beirut explosion," the Moldovan Foreign Minister said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) announces that it is monitoring the situation as a matter of priority and will return with updated information.
