More than 2,500 people have come to the country in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, at the border crossing points, the flow of people constituted 3,991 crossings. On the direction of entry into the Republic of Moldova, there were 2,513 crossings of persons, of which 1,351 crossings at the Moldovan-Romanian border, 738 crossings at the border with Ukraine and 424 air crossings.

According to the Border Police, in the checkpoints open to traffic, 3,991 people were screened and 2,513 individual epidemiological files were completed. No person showed symptoms of COVID-19 infection.

At the Otaci crossing point, at the entrance to the country, 151 Moldovan citizens were registered, who returned from the Russian Federation, transiting Ukraine. Another 85 compatriots returned from the Czech Republic, until the Romanian crossing point Albita was organized the trip by bus. The border crossing in the Republic of Moldova was made on foot, so that later from the Leuseni crossing point they will be taken over by another bus to travel to the interior of the country.

Officers from the Green Line of the Police registered 320 calls from citizens, where consultations were offered regarding the situation at the state border, the crossing conditions and the risks in the context of the measures applied to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
