Messages of the top leadership on National Culture Day

President of Parliament Zinaida Greceanii, together with the head of state Igor Dodon and members of the Government, laid flowers at the bust of Mihai Eminescu and Grigore Vieru on the Classical Alley in the "Stefan cel Mare si Sfant " Alley in the Public Garden , Radio Moldova reports.

" I want to congratulate all the people of the Republic of Moldova and especially the workers in culture field ”, said Igor Dodon.

In this way, the top officials marked the National Day of Culture on January 15, when the poet Mihai Eminescu was born, and paid tribute to the poet Grigore Vieru on the eve of his Commemoration Day due on January 18.

On the occasion of the National Culture Day of Culture, the speaker addressed a message in which he thanked the people of culture for contribution to the consolidation, development and promotion of the rich cultural values of our people.

The PM Ion Chicu sent a message on  National Culture Day. “Culture is one of the basic binders of a society and the level of culture of the society plays a decisive role in its well-being and prosperity. The set of cultural values both unites us at present, as well as assures us a connection with the past, helping us to make projections in the future. The National Culture Day is a good opportunity to mention the role of people, who have dedicated themselves to education and the arts, and to thank them for inspiration, dedication and strength. Only better, more educated and united will we be able to build a prosperous future in Moldova”, reads the message of the PM.
