Ministry of Defense sets a hotline for veterans

The Ministry of Defense (MA) has created a crisis cell responsible for managing the problems of war veterans, of the force structures, the war widows, those who need increased assistance during the emergency, informs the MA, in a statement.

The institution set up a hot line for veterans to which they can request assistance related to prevention measures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, veterans can call at: 022 25 20 65, 022 25 21 78, between 8.00-17.00 (from Monday to Friday), or on the mobile phone number 060705138, 24/24.

Also, local phone lines will operate within each Territorial Military Center or Military Administrative Section in all districts or municipalities.

"We aim to communicate effectively with you in order to solve all the problems that you address during this crisis period. We will systematize your problems and if necessary, we will address them during the meetings of the Commission for local emergencies through the Head of the Territorial Military Center, the Head of the Military Administrative Section”, said the Defense Minister Alexandru Pînzari.

Pânzari pointed that he will personally monitor how this line works, so that the veterans in difficulty receive assistance.
