The Ministry of Health will purchase four types of ambulances
The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection will procure four types of ambulances from Turkish associated companies. The value of the contract exceeds 10.6 million euros, Radio Moldova reports.
The cost of the special vehicles ranges from 66 thousand to 73 thousand euros, depending on the endowments. The ambulances will arrive in the car park of the National Center for Emergency Medical Assistance.
The units will be purchased from the account of the financial means allocated on the basis of the framework loan agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Council of Europe Development Bank.
In June 2018, the Council of Europe Development Bank approved the granting of a 12 million euro loan to the Republic of Moldova for the renewal of the ambulance park of the National Center for Emergency Medical Assistance. Thus, 168 ambulances are to be purchased, IPN reports.
