Minister of Defense urges citizens to protect their parents and grandparents
The most vulnerable in the fight with Coronavirus are our parents and grandparents, whom we must take care. This was announced by the Minister of Defense, Alexandru Pânzari, in the context of the spread of the COVID-19.
"We can bring them food, medicines to the house of the elderly. It is important that before transmitting the bags, we should wipe them with disinfectants. We do not even embrace them, in order not to expose them to the risk of the epidemic. The most dangerous contact that can end tragically in this period is when grandparents embrace their grandchildren", said Alexandru Pînzari, Minister of Defense.
We remind that, according to the latest data published by the Ministry of Health, there are 149 persons infected with COVID-19 in Moldova. Most cases have been confirmed in adults aged between 50 and 59.
