Moldova and Brazil signed an agreement on visa-free travel
Governments of Moldova and Brazil signed on December 9, in Chisinau, the Agreement on short-stay visa waiver for citizens with ordinary passports.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman and the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Moldova with residence in Kiev, Antonio Fernando Cruz de Mello.

According to the document, the citizens of both countries will be allowed to enter, transit, exit and stay on the territory of the other Contracting Party without a visa for a period up to 90 days within six months from the date of first entry.

The agreement will enter into force after both countries meet the necessary internal legal procedures.

Brazil is the third country of the Latin American continent, after Ecuador and Chile which signed an agreement with the Republic of Moldova on the abolition of visa regime for all citizens.
