A woman was killed by a bus on Chisinau-Bucharest route

A woman was crushed under the wheels of a coach last night, May 15, on Varlaam Street, near the Central Market. Preliminarily, it was found that the woman slept under the bus while the transport unit was stationary, and when it started off she was crushed.

Asked by IPN, Natalia Stati, the press police head of the capital, Natalia Stati, said the woman's identity had not been established yet. She seems to be between 55 and 60 years old. The 47-year-old driver told the lawmen he had not seen the woman around the bus. It all happened between 22:00 and 23.00.

The case will be prosecuted in the light of the article "Breach of the rules on the safety of the movement or operation of means of transport by the person in charge of the means of transport".
