The 25-year prison sentence for which businessman Veaceslav Plato is in jail, was reduced by nearly 2 years for poor detention conditions. The decision was taken by the Ciocana District Court of Chisinau, reports Moldova 1.

The magistrates partially admitted the request of the lawyers, who demanded the reduction of the sentence by a thousand days, in the case in which Veaceslav Platon is accused of fraud and money laundering in very large proportions. Veaceslav Platon is in the Penitentiary no. 13 in Chisinau, after he was convicted of fraud, money laundering and active corruption.
