Over 1,400 Moldovans have returned to the country in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 2440 people entered the Republic of Moldova and no person showed symptoms of COVID-19 infection, the General Inspectorate of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced in a press release. In all, at the border crossing points, the flow of people constituted 4320 crossings.

1226 moldovans entered the country through the Moldovan-Romanian border, 796 crossings at the border with Ukraine and 408 crossings of the air border.

At the border crossing points open to traffic, 4,320 people were screened and 2,440 individual epidemiological files were completed.

When crossing the state border, travelers are subject to thermometry, on the way to enter the country it is ensured that they correctly fill in the epidemiological files and are informed about the fines that will be applied to people who will not comply with prophylactic measures in the context of coronavirus.

The officers of the Green Line of the Border Police (022 259 717), within 24 hours, registered 218 calls from citizens. They were offered consultations regarding the situation at the state border, the crossing conditions and the risks in the context. measures applied to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
