Over 3600 drivers from the Transnistrian region have access to international traffic

Over 3600 drivers from the Transnistrian region have access to international traffic. It turns one year today since the Protocol Decision was signed to this effect, Moldova 1 TV reports.

In 8 months of implementing the provisions, more than 2,900 requests for endorsement were registered at the offices of the Public Services Agency in Tiraspol and Ribnita.

According to the authorities, more than 3300 drivers from the left bank of the Nistru have changed their driving license to meet the new requirements, of which 1140 lodged applications at the beginning of the year. Neutral license plates contain three letters and three digits and started to be released since September last year.

The owners also receive a technical passport, and a sticker with the "MD" symbol is applied to the vehicle.
