Over 5,400 people entered Moldova in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, at the border crossing points, the flow of people constituted 11,441 crossings. 5,456 crossings were registered on the way to enter Moldova, out of which 3,367 crossings at the Moldovan-Romanian border, 1,337 at the border with Ukraine and 752 – by plane, informs the General Inspectorate of the Border Police of the Interior Ministry.

At the border crossing points open to traffic, 11,441 people were screened and 4,944 individual epidemiological files were completed. At the state border crossing, no person showed symptoms of COVID-19 infection.

At the same time, during 24 hours, the border police officers documented 70 people for non-compliance with the measures of prophylaxis, prevention or control of epidemic diseases (art. 76 'of the CC of the Republic of Moldova).

The officers of the Green Line of the Border Police (022 259 717), within 24 hours, registered 155 calls from citizens and offered consultations on the situation at the state border, the crossing conditions and the risks of spreading COVID- 19.
