Firefighters extinguished over 50 fires outbreaks in the last 24 hours

Over the past 24 hours, rescuers have intervened in 53 cases of fire outbreaks. Most cases happened in the central part of Moldova. According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, in the last 24 hours, over 130 hectares of land have been burnt in Moldova.

Thus, the firefighters have extinguished 20 hectares of vegetation in the Anenii Noi district, 10 hectares in Hincesti and 7 hectares in Straseni.

Vegetation fires were also registered d in Căuşeni, Teleneşti, Ungheni and Orhei.

Also, firefighters   intervened to extinguish fire outbreaks in Bubuieci, Bacioi and Singera.

In the southern area, fires have affected more than 30 hectares of land in Leova and about 7 hectares in Cahul district.

In this context, firefighters urge citizens to comply with fire regulations and not to burn dry grass and rubbish. In situations of risk, citizens are asked to call 112.
