More than 50,000 people were registered on the E-integrity portal

Approximately 55,000 people were registered on the E-integrity portal between 1 January and 31 March. The data were presented by the National Integrity Authority at a press conference on "Submission of annual declarations of wealth and personal interests for 2018: official results". The head of the National Integrity Authority, Rodica Antoci, said that about 52,000 civil servants in the system were active, while some 2,300 were with suspended activities, reports Radio Moldova.

"With regard to the declarations of assets and personal income in the system, there were 58,619 statements, out of which 57,972, annual declarations filed, 461 statements submitted and 176 statements made on employment. Systematic declarations have also been made in the system. These are statements that have been rectified or repeatedly submitted by one and the same subject," said the head of the National Integrity Authority, Rodica Antoci.

According to the legislation, the failure to submit the declaration of personal wealth and interests, as well as the refusal of the subject of the declaration to submit the statement, are grounds for terminating the mandate or the employment relationship.
