Over 5,000 people entered Moldova in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, in the border crossing points, the flow of people constituted 13,097 crossings. According to the General Inspectorate of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5,205 crossings were registered on the way into Moldova, of which 3,252 crossings at the Moldovan-Romanian border, 1,173 at the border with Ukraine and 780 crossings by plane.

At the border crossing points open to traffic, 13,097 people were screened and 5,205 individual epidemiological files were completed. At the border crossing, no person showed symptoms of COVID-19 infection (fever, cough, rhinorrhea).

The Border Police also announces that nine people have violated the regime of the border area, and three foreign citizens have exceeded the term of residence on the territory of Moldova. Also, three drivers violated the transportation rules and 15 cases of non-compliance with measures for the prevention, prevention and control of epidemic diseases were documented.

Officers from the Green Line of the Border Police (022 259 717), within 24 hours, registered 225 calls from citizens and offered consultations on the situation at the state border, the crossing conditions and the risks of spreading COVID-19.
